Waxwork Records presents the "LOST HIGHWAY "Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, produced by Trent Reznor and David Lynch, as a deluxe double LP featuring re-mastered audio, a new design, 150 gram colored vinyl, high-quality packaging and more!

Released in 1997, "LOST HIGHWAY" is a neo-noir film co-written and directed by David Lynch, starring Bill Pullman, Patricia Arquette, Balthazar Getty, and Robert Blake. The film’s surreal story follows a musician who receives mysterious VHS tapes of himself and his wife, becomes embroiled in a murder conviction, and then mysteriously vanishes, replaced by a young mechanic living a different life. Lynch describes it as “psychogenic fugue” rather than a straightforward narrative.

The soundtrack includes an original score by Angelo Badalamenti and Barry Adamson, along with tracks from artists like David Bowie, Trent Reznor, Nine Inch Nails, The Smashing Pumpkins, Lou Reed, Marilyn Manson, and Rammstein. In collaboration with Lynch, Reznor created two songs, “The Perfect Drug” and “Driver Down,” specifically for the film and produced the soundtrack, which peaked at No. 7 on the Billboard 200 and achieved Gold status in the U.S.
