Progenitors of punk, The Stooges made some of the most rambunctiously abrasive celebrations of sex, drugs and Rock 'n' roll long before the arrival of the punk explosion in 1977.
This collection titled Now Playing collates material from The Stooge's groundbreaking self-titled debut and their second album Fun House. The Stooge's ferocious mix of 60's garage rock and psychedelia, blues, primal distortion and raw lyricism created some of the most memorable proto-punk songs of the late 60's and early 70's including "I wanna be your dog' and "Dirt" both of which are on this album.
Limited edition translucent orange vinyl released via Rhino Records in 2024.
