"Love Child", the fifteenth studio album by Diana Ross & the Supremes, was released in 1968 on Motown. It was the first album not produced by the Holland-Dozier-Holland team, who had overseen most of the group's previous work. The album marks a shift in sound, moving away from soul-pop to a more distinct and personal style, both musically and lyrically.
