One of the premier examples of late '70s industrial noise music Chance Meeting on a Dissecting Table of a Sewing Machine and an Umbrella is the debut release from British Industrial band Nurse With Wound. The album's title is a quote from surrealist French author Isidore-Lucien Ducasse's "Chants de Maldoror". 

This 2024 remaster by Colin Potter is printed on a limited silver vinyl and comes with a complete Nurse With Wound list on the gatefold inner. This list details the many avant-garde and outsider artists who influenced the group and has since become a reference list for collectors of avant-garde and outsider music.
