Meshell Ndegeocello, the acclaimed singer and bass virtuoso first gained recognition on Madonna’s Maverick label in the 1990s. She now thrives under the Blue Note jazz label. She has achieved something remarkable, building on her 2016 theatre piece "Can I Get a Witness?", this album evolves into a dynamic exploration of James Baldwin’s enduring legacy.
Printed on an indie exclusive tangerine vinyl, released via Blue Note Records in 2024.
