British trip-hop duo Mono had a brief but impactful career in the '90s, starting with their first hit single "Life in Mono" and culminating in their only full-length album release: "Formica Blues". The album builds on a foundation inspired by television and film theme tunes from the '60s and '70s, layering on jazzy rhythms and big, atmospheric synth reminiscent of Massive Attack. This 180g translucent yellow reissue of "Formica Blues" celebrates the music influence Mono had on the UK music scene.
