(Indie exclusive, purple swirl vinyl) the last album from the Misifts released two months before the departure of frontman Glen Danzig. A classic of horror-punk the album pushes the speed of the genre to its absolute limits.
The final album from American horror-punk pioneers the Misfits to feature famed vocalist Glen Danzig Earth A.D./Wolfs Blood features a distinctly faster sound than the band's previous release. The album has an astounding run-time of just under 15 minutes despite being an LP rather than an EP.
The album was given some of Danzig's side project Samhain songs "Bloodfeast" and "Death Comes Ripping" in a last-ditch effort to save the Misfits before Danzig's inevitable departure. It was originally released on Danzig's Plan 9 album in late 1983.
2024 reissue on an indie exclusive purple swirl vinyl released via UME.
