(Clear vinyl) the ultimate Love compilation captures all of the band's groundbreaking '60s psychedelic rock anthems including timeless classics from "Forever Changes".
The new compilation Now Playing from legendary underground rock icons Love captures the band's best tracks from their influential '60s era, including classics from their acclaimed album Forever Changes, hailed as one of the greatest albums in psychedelic rock.
Love were one of the earliest pioneers of psychedelic rock and in the 60's they dominated L.A.'s Sunset Strip alongside The Byrds and The Doors. Love's fusion of acid rock, psychedelia and folk-pop still influences today's neo-psychedelia artists like Tame Impala, The Flaming Lips and Animal Collective.
The classic Love lineup consisted of frontman Arthur Lee, guitarist and singer Bryan MacLean, bassist Ken Forssi, lead guitarist Johnny Echols, and drummer Donnie Conca (who was later replaced by Alban "Snoopy" Pfisterer). While the band saw changes over the years, frontman Arthur Lee was the glue that kept the band together.
Pressed on heavyweight clear vinyl, released in 2024 via Rhino Entertainment.
