London Grammar's fourth album celebrates the band's creative freedom and introspection, blending their signature ethereal sound with a renewed focus on artistry over chasing pop trends.
Eleven years after their double platinum debut If You Wait, London Grammar returns with their fourth album, The Greatest Love. The album celebrates the band's creative freedom, as they’ve built a unique career performing to stadium crowds while avoiding the trappings of celebrity. With 3 million albums sold, two No. 1 records, an Ivor Novello win, and multiple BRIT Award nominations, Hannah Reid, Dan Rothman, and Dot Major have achieved something many of their peers have not, career longevity.
"This is the proudest achievement of my life", says frontwoman and songwriter Hannah Reid, reflecting on the band's journey. Over the last decade, they’ve refined their sound, embracing their instincts and newfound confidence. "The last few years have changed our priorities and process", Hannah explains, signaling a shift from relentless touring to focusing on the art of music itself.
Their 2021 album Californian Soil hit No. 1, followed by their biggest UK tour to date, selling 35,000 tickets for two nights at Alexandra Palace and performing for 700,000 fans on Coldplay’s 2022 stadium tour. Now, The Greatest Love reflects a period of creative liberation, blending their signature emotive lyrics and ethereal sound with a more celebratory spirit. Tracks like "House" and "Fakest Bitch" showcase Hannah's vocal power and the band's genre-defying mix of electronica and pop.
Released via Ministry of Sound in 2024.
