American funk metal band Living Colour's Grammy award-winning 1990 album Time's Up features cameo appearances from an eclectic cast of characters including James Earl Jones, Queen Latifah and Little Richard. It is the album to feature original bassist Muzz Skillings.
Living Colour smashes funk, jazz, hip-hop and metal influences with complex lyrical themes that tackle everything from personal struggles to race relations in the United States. Their second album Times Up dissects environmental issues and includes the single "Love Rears Its Ugly Head".
