From Zero, American rock band Linkin Park's eighth studio album, marks the band's first studio effort since One More Light (2017). The album introduces the band into a new era with Emily Armstrong from Dead Sara on vocals replacing Chester Bennington after his tragic passing and Colin Brittain replacing Rob Bourdon on drums. The title From Zero reflects both the band's original name, Xero, and their fresh chapter with Armstrong and Brittain.
In March 2024, rumours of a Linkin Park reunion began circulating when Orgy frontman Jay Gordon hinted at a new female vocalist in the Linkin Park lineup. This led to speculation about a reunion tour, which Billboard later confirmed, featuring Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, Dave "Phoenix" Farrell and Emily Armstrong. The band added fuel to the excitement in August 2024 with a mysterious countdown, culminating in the announcement of From Zero alongside the release of the lead single "The Emptiness Machine" and the announcement of a six-date arena tour spanning four continents.
The band performed the track "Heavy Is the Crown" live in Hamburg on September 22, 2024, which was later released as the second single. With From Zero, Linkin Park embarks on a bold new journey, paying tribute to their past while embracing their future.
Pressed on an indie exclusive magenta vinyl and released by Warner Music in 2024.
