"Reflections" is the second album by American jazz saxophonist Steve Lacy. The album consists of performances of Thelonious Monk pieces, this 2024 reissue is printed on clear vinyl.
Sowing Records presents a 2024 reissue on clear vinyl of Steve Lacy's most eclectic masterwork. Reflections released in 1959 via Prestige and is entirely comprised of performances of Thelonious Monk's compositions and is the first album by another artist to be entirely comprised of Monk's compositions.
The band feature on Reflections is comprised of Steve Lacy on alto saxophone, Mal Waldron on piano, Buell Neidlinger on bass and Elvin Jones on drums.
