(Mystic eye coloured vinyl) KRS-One's 1995 self-titled hardcore hip-hop classic arrives on vinyl as a deluxe reissue via Get on Down.
KRS-One's 1995 self-titled album features stellar production from hardcore hip-hop stalwarts DJ Premier, Diamond D and Showbiz. The album's highlights include the Premier produced "Rappaz R. N. Dainja" which tackles the state of rap in the mid-'90s, the song's production features samples from Jaco Pastorius, Herbie Hancock and Assagai. The boom-bap classic "De Automatic" and the Billboard Hot 100 charting "MC's Act Like They Don't Know".
This 2024 2LP mystic eye-coloured reissue released via Get On Down includes a deluxe gatefold jacket and a foldout lyric sheet.
