Originally recorded at Mad Hatter Studios in 1999, the album marked a significant leap from their debut "Four Minute Mile", thanks to a new deal with Vagrant Records. This release, showcasing a blend of aggression and sensitivity with keyboard textures, helped shape the emo genre and influenced bands like Fall Out Boy. The 2024 reissue includes remastered tracks and demos, offering fans a nostalgic look at the album’s creation and evolution.
