"In The Groove", Marvin Gaye's eighth studio album, was released by Motown on August 26, 1968, and later reissued as "I Heard It Through the Grapevine" following the unexpected success of that hit, one of the biggest of 1968. This album represented Gaye's first efforts at self-production, featuring his own songs such as the funky gospel track "At Last I Found a Love" and the smoother "Change What You Can."
