Galaxie 500's new collection "Uncollected Noise New York ’88–’90" features rare tracks and covers like "Ceremony" and "Final Day," on 2xLP vinyl with exclusive photos and notes.
The late-’80s indie rock trio Galaxie 500 recorded a wealth of non-album material, including singles, b-sides, radio sessions, and compilation tracks. Much of this has been compiled in the new collection "Uncollected Noise New York ’88–’90," featuring tracks from various Galaxie 500 recording sessions.
The compilation includes covers of "Ceremony" by Joy Division/New Order, "Final Day" by Young Marble Giants, and "Cheese and Onions" by The Rutles, among other previously unreleased recordings.
This reissue is available on 2xLP black vinyl in a gatefold jacket that includes archival imagery and a triple panel fold-out insert with historical photos and liner notes by the band.
