Serge Gainsbourg's second studio album, "Serge Gainsbourg No. 2" features Gainsberg backed by the Alain Goraguer Orchestra for a late '50s mutant jazz-pop experience. "No. 2" comes at the tail-end of Gainsbourg's self-described 'blue period', leaning into a strong chansonnier sound.
