You'd think everybody already had a copy of Rumours by now since Fleetwood Mac's pop magnum opus has sold more than 40 million copies worldwide since its release in February of 1977, but this polished gem of a record is our biggest seller at Kop's Records.

Truth. Not a day goes by when we don't sell at least one copy of Rumours at each of our shops, proving that the audience for this monster hit -- it was the biggest-selling album of all time until Michael Jackson's Thriller came along a few years later -- just keeps refreshing itself every year. And no wonder: pretty much every tune on the record, from "Second Hand News" and "Don't Stop" to "You Make Loving Fun" and "Gold Dust Woman," is veritably tattooed on the popular consciousness. They've just never gone away and, despite the songs' familiarity, to soak Rumours up as a whole is to marvel at what an absolutely perfect work of popcraft the thing really is. Records, *Rumours* is the eleventh studio album by the British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac. The album, recorded mainly in California throughout 1976, was produced by the band alongside Ken Caillat and Richard Dashut. The personal breakups and heavy drug use experienced by the band members during this period significantly shaped the album's thematic focus and lyrical content.
