(180g-Black vinyl/indie exclusive) the second compilation from seminal rock giants the Eagles includes the band's biggest not included on "Their Greatest Hits (1971–1975)" compilation.
Eagles Greatest Hits Volume 2, the second greatest hits compilation from American rock band the Eagles, includes some of the band’s biggest hits "Hotel California", "Seven Bridges Road" and "Heartache Tonight". The album was released in 1982, following the band’s breakup. That same year, both Don Henley and Glenn Frey released their debut solo albums.
The compilation features eight tracks from Hotel California and The Long Run, as well as “After the Thrill Is Gone” from One of These Nights. This track, which aptly reflects the band's state at the time, was strategically placed as the final song on Eagles Greatest Hits Volume 2. Additionally, the album includes “Seven Bridges Road,” a single from the 1980 live album Eagles Live. Since its release, the compilation has sold over 11 million copies in the U.S. alone.
2024 reissue pressed on an indie exclusive 180g-black vinyl features the 1999 remastered version of all the tracks, released via Warner Music.
