Miles Davis' first album on Columbia Records, "'Round About Midnight", marks the start of a partnership spanning over three decades with the iconic label as well as the beginnings of his collaboration with the still-emerging saxophonist John Coltrane. Released in 1957, this album is a significant milestone in Davis' career, serving as his introduction to mainstream audiences.
