The album tells the story of a planet controlled by an authoritarian regime that wishes to destroy all sound and colour and the lovers who fight against this regime.
"Mylo Xyloto" was preceded by five of Coldplays biggest singles "Paradise", "Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall", "Charlie Brown", "Princess of China" and ""Hurts Like Heaven".
This 2024 reissue of Mylo Xyloto is pressed on heavyweight vinyl and features an exclusive gatefold die-cut jacket and a 12" x 36" sparks graffiti poster.
