The debut and breakthrough album "The Balcony" has become a defining record for Catfish and the Bottlemen. Achieving Double Platinum status and featuring 9 BPI Certified Singles, including "Cocoon" and "Kathleen," it was initially released through Communion/Island Records on September 15, 2014. Written by Van McCann and produced by Jim Abbiss, this collection showcases McCann’s skill in crafting relatable, everyday observations through his lyrics. The album’s success and numerous sold-out performances earned the band a Brit Award for British Breakthrough Act.

To celebrate its 10th anniversary and following their biggest headline shows this summer, "The Balcony" will be released in a limited edition ultra-clear 2LP format, featuring inverted white artwork and 6 bonus tracks. This includes previously unreleased acoustic versions of "Cocoon," "Kathleen," and "Pacifier," as well as the single version of "Rango," an Ewan McGregor version of "Hourglass," and the rare track "ASA," which will be available on vinyl 12” for the first time after its initial release as a limited edition 7” single a decade ago.
