The Numero Group's quest to spotlight overlooked 20th-century treasures continues with a reissue of American country singer Charles Brown finest collection I Just Want To Talk To You. Charles Brown fell for a fellow member of his country-rock band Sleepy Creek in the late 1970s, just as they were gaining traction. In the midst of this unspoken longing, he penned the song I Just Want to Talk to You, a poignant and beautiful declaration of unrequited love that remains as powerful and affecting to this day. 

This collection, named after Brown's poignant hit, presents a captivating array of his work from his time with Sleepy Creek and his solo career between 1976-1982. Rich in desire, heartache, and longing, it celebrates a talented singer-songwriter whose contributions to country music’s queer history are both significant and long overdue for recognition.
