The Tru Tones are a Saint Lucian band led by Ronald "Boo" Hinkson, formed in the 1960s. They gained considerable popularity in the 1970s in the United Kingdom and released five albums along with several singles, including the notable tracks "Hungry Belly," "Burning Eyes," and a remake of the Hot Chocolate song "Sexy Thing."

Following the breakup of the Tru Tones, Hinkson has enjoyed a successful solo career and has toured internationally.
